Dependent Care FSA

If enrolled, you can contribute up to $5,000 per year in pre-tax dollars to help pay for qualified dependent care expenses. 

LifeWorks EAP

This company-paid benefit offers you free, confidential help and resources when you have a problem and don’t know where to turn. You, and each of your household members, are eligible for up to five free, in-person counseling sessions with a behavioral health professional per issue per rolling calendar year. This program also includes grief counseling, legal services, identity theft and financial services. 


Wellness Initiatives

Tuthill offers an annual wellness exam for both employees and their spouses. Each exam includes lab-accurate diagnostic blood work, a full medical history, a tailored personal health report, and a private consultation with a board-certified nurse practitioner. Those employees who participate in our medical plan and take part in the wellness exam can receive a discount on weekly medical deductions. 



401(k) Saving Plan

Tuthill offers full-time employees the opportunity to participate in our 401(k) plan immediately upon date of hire. Employees can invest up to 50% of their gross salary in the plan (up to the IRS limit each year). Tuthill will match 100% of the first 3% of pay contributed and 50% of the next 3% of pay contributed; a maximum match of 4.5% (up to the IRS limit). Employees are vested in the employer match at 20% each calendar year that they work 1,000 hours. The plan offers 8 investment options through Principal Financial.

Profit Sharing Plan

Tuthill will credit non-union, eligible employee 401(k) accounts each year with contributions based on the current financial success of the Tuthill line of business. You do not need to participate in the 401(k) plan to be eligible for this benefit. If your line of business meets an expected financial goal, your 401(k) account will be credited with a contribution. You are vested at a rate of 20% per year (fully 100% vested after 5 years) and have the ability to take your vested account balance with you when you leave. The account is discretionary.


Life Insurance

Tuthill automatically provides our employees with life insurance at no cost. Non-union employees will receive coverage for two times your annual salary up to $200,000. Collective bargaining will receive what has been negotiated in accordance to the contract. We offer supplemental life insurance for the employee, a spouse and children through MetLife.





Employees receive company-paid Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance benefit for two times their annual salary up to $200,000.

Short & Long-Term Disability

Through the Short Term Disability (STD) benefit, Tuthill provides income protection during the first 180 days of an eligible disability. With Long Term Disability Insurance, Tuthill provides income protection to salaried employees of up to 60% of their salary for any disability that prohibits them from engaging in the current occupation. Long Term Disability (LTD) begins 180 days after the occurrence of an eligible disability.
